Ithaca, a poem by Constantine P Cavafy, from a friend to send me on my journey to Scotland. Also read at Jackie Kennedy’s funeral, the poem encourages the journey, and reminds me of The Alchemist, an allegorical novel by Paulo Coelho first published in 1988.
