Carnoustie Part I/3: New Fine Art Photographs
Posted by Sally on Monday, August 3rd, 2009
I begin our time in Scotland with three special memories of Carnoustie, just 45 minutes north of St. Andrews on the east coast. We played all three Carnoustie public links courses: the Buddon (named for the nearby military base where you overhear machine gun fire constantly), the Burnside, and finally, on day 3, the Championship. Rex’s caddy, Alf, made our days on the Buddon and Championship. And here’s a shout-out to my young caddy, Sean! Wish I could have played better for you!
As rich as the golf was, my evening walk on the Championship course alone was heaven on earth. There is nothing like a classic ground as the sun rises or sets. Enjoy these four new fine art photographs that are available now on my web site!
And stay tuned for Part 2/3: The Carnoustie Ladies Putting Contest and 3/3/: Carnoustie after golf…where to stay and dine.
All four new prints are 16×10″, signed limited edition of 50, on fine Somerset Velvet papers, and will be available for $85.00 soon via my website. In them meantime, feel free to order by email direct to me at srossphoto@gmail.com. Thanks!
